StreamServe Showcases StreamServe Utilities Solution at CS Week Conference 32

SAP–Endorsed Business Solution Streamlines Billing Processes and Reduces Cost-to-Serve

StreamServe to Present StreamServe Utilities solution within SAP Theatre at Booth# 101

CS Week Conference 32, booth # 452, SAN ANTONIO, TX –– May 20, 2008 –– StreamServe (www.streamserve.com), a global leader in dynamic document composition, management and delivery solutions, today announced it will showcase its SAP–Endorsed Business solution, StreamServe Utilities™ at CS Week Conference 32 in booth 452 from May 20th through May 22nd. StreamServe will also be featured within SAP Booth# 101 as a key speaker on integrated CRM/billing solutions within the SAP Theater. StreamServe Utilities enable leading energy providers to maximize the revenue and relationship-building potential of their most consistent customer interaction - the monthly bill - while reducing the overall cost to serve. An SAP-endorsed business solution for SAP for Utilities, StreamServe Utilities simplifies and automates the billing process and supports optimized high-volume printing for SAP, while enabling personalized customer communications.

StreamServe has long been an SAP Software Partner extending SAP applications with highly integrated document processing solutions. StreamServe holds a unique level of certifications from SAP which ensures seamless connectivity and tight integration with SAP solutions, providing joint customers with the confidence that the applications will evolve as part of the same ecosystem.

“Billing is often seen as a cost of doing business that offers little opportunity for improvement,” said Dennis Ladd, CEO of StreamServe. “StreamServe Utilities increases customer loyalty and service by enabling utilities to provide bills in the customer’s preferred communication channel such as paper, email, web, or SMS. Organizations can drive customer satisfaction via easy-to-understand, graphically-rich bills which can include personalized marketing messages, as well as provide significant cost-to-serve savings by reducing or eliminating postal costs and reducing customer service calls.”

Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E), a regulated electric utility company serving approximately 700,000 retail customers in Oklahoma and western Arkansas, realized the importance of personalized and timely customer communications. During the utilities’ deployment of a new SAP ERP system, OG&E recognized the need for adding an application to streamline its billing process.

OG&E selected StreamServe Utilities for its dynamic composition, management and multi-channel delivery capabilities. SAP’s CCS module manages OG&E’s mission-critical billing and customer notification processes and integrates seamlessly with StreamServe Utilities which then allows the utility to process, format, personalize, and distribute bills based on customer preferences.

“OG&E is committed to being a leading, progressive electrical utility company,” said James W. Chappel, manager of customer projects for OG&E. “By implementing StreamServe Utilities together with SAP for Utilities Customer Care and Service (CCS) module, OG&E is able to provide integrated, flexible, and customer-centric billing and customer care.”

OG&E, part of the OGE Energy Corporation, has eight power plants capable of producing approximately 5,800 megawatts, generates 70 percent of its electricity from low-sulfur Wyoming coal and 30 percent from natural gas. The company delivers electricity across an interconnected transmission and distribution system spanning 30,000 square miles.

“According to a survey of customer service representatives, StreamServe Utilities is one of the CSR’s most valuable tools when addressing customer inquiries,” said Deborah Gavula, supervisor of special services for OG&E. “And that is one of the primary reasons that OG&E has been able to connect so well with its customers and, in the process, continues to be a “leading, progressive electric utility company.”
