StreamServe signs deal with heavyweight consultant Logica

Stockholm, Sweden, April 22, 2008 – Swedish IT company StreamServe has signed a contract with heavyweight consulting firm Logica. Under the contract Logica will, among other things, offer its clients StreamServe’s solutions for composing, managing, and distributing personalised documents. This strengthens Logica’s service offering in information logistics while StreamServe adds yet another true multinational to its impressive roster of clients and partners.

Logica, formerly WM-data, is a leading player in information logistics and helps companies throughout the world optimise information flows by linking business processes and business information between different partners.

“Working with the leading suppliers in every field is something we prioritise,” says Roger Wrede, Business Development Manager at Logica. “It’s clear that individualised communication is decisive to many of our clients maintaining their business edge and, as far as we are concerned, StreamServe offers the most effective solution in this area.”

The contract between StreamServe and Logica also enables Logica to offer its clients optimised management in document production and large print runs. This includes StreamServe’s Post Processor which can, for example, help companies manage printouts, envelope multiple documents together, and optimise the sorting of documents for distribution by regular mail.

“A company’s client base and the business information it possesses are important assets which, when correctly applied, can generate increased revenues and greater customer satisfaction,” says Christian Hadenius, Managing Director of StreamServe Northern Europe. “Companies are becoming increasingly aware of the value of creating personalised customer communications, as regards both content and distribution. Gathering multiple documents in a single envelope is one such example. Not only does this reduce the sender’s postage costs and save the environment, the recipient is spared dealing with two or more mailings from the same company on the same day.”
